Bob Long Paintball

If you havent heard already, Bob Long has a new paintball gun releasing in 2007. As of this post, there is no official name for it yet. However, it has been recorded to be the fastest paintball gun, capping at 31 bps. Bob Longs son, Zack Long, commentates about the new 2007 paintball gun. You can watch the video here. Paintball Masks – Which Should You Buy?

Paintball Mask

The first question many new players to the game ask is “what paintball gun should I buy?”. Repeat after me.

MY GOGGLES ARE MY MOST IMPORTANT PIECE OF EQUIPMENT!

The question that new paintball players to the game should be asking is “which mask should I buy?” This is important not only because of safety reasons but not all masks are created equal. Many masks are far better than others. Like the Proteus mask from JT. This mask has anti-fogging technologies as well as fans to save you from that blinding moment in which you can not see because of the fogged lens in your mask.

DerDer’s Soldier of Misfortune DVD

Paintball Girls – How Cute

Now, before you watch this video, you must first acknowledge that it’s girls like these that call us guys “immature” and “retarded”. And of course, I’m going to have these two paintball girls represent the entire female population. My point is not that these girls are actin’ a fool – they’re just having fun. But so are we when we decide to throw a smoke bomb inside the local Blockbuster store.

I was not surprised in finding that most of the comments for this video were “Yea that’s hot” and “I’d do that”. The only reason you are attracted to the girls is because they have paintball guns and masks on. So, because you are only attracted because of the paintball guns and masks, it’s safe to say that you are sexually attracted to paintball in itself. And because paintball is played mostly by MALES, you are in fact, a homosexual. It’s only logical. What? Try and prove me wrong.

Congratulations Jake!

Congratulations to Jake, our Dye lanyard giveaway. Jake has been notified via e-mail and will have his prize shipped off to him asap. Thanks to all who participated, and we will have many more chances for you to win paintball stuff in the very near future. Keep checking in!

Team Dynasty New Website

I thought I would make a quick blurb (i hate that word) about Team Dynasty’s newly designed website. There wasn’t much added as far as content goes. They still offer online shopping and the amazing super-dooper fan club that you have to pay for to get in. Talk about prejudice. But hey, at least they’re still promoting that Dynasty paintball cell phone game. Too bad it doesn’t work for almost anybody.

Sorry I got lost in the rant. I actually think the site is looking pretty good. The only suggestion I have besides those mentioned above is that they start up their own forum. My goodness, it’s as if Dynasty is being used as a tool to promote PbNation. SK from Team Dynasty does the web design work. I’ve spoken to him a few times and he’s a good guy. Your own feedback about the website is also welcome… So feel free to comment.

The Death of Autocockers

Autococker

On my three hour drive up to Michigan last night, I was pondering over the existence of the Autococker paintball guns. It seems as if they are a dying breed. Worr Game Products doesn’t seem to be caring too much about their reputation. Their forums are down and they don’t seem to be making much progress with their line of paintball guns. I would not be surprised at all if they are blown out of the market within a year or two, the way they market.

Autocockers were a good run, but their accuracy was only dependent upon hours of maintenance and perfect timing.

Tippmann 98 Custom – Limited Edition

Tippmann 98 Custom Limited Edition

Celebrate Tippmann’s 20th anniversary by letting them rip you off!

So I was browsing Tippmann’s website today, and fell upon a special note that they’re celebrating their 20th anniversary in the paintball industry. Because of this, Tippmann has come out with a *cough* “Anniversary paintball gun”. It looks awfully familiar to the Tippmann 98 Custom. I am in no way bashing Tippmann for celebrating their 20 years of glory. It just doesn’t seem to sit well that all they’re doing is slapping a few decals on the 98 custom, numbering them, and increasing the price by over 200%.

Oh well.

To commemorate 20 years in the paintball industry, Tippmann is offering a collectors edition marker. Only 3,000 of the Tippmann 20th anniversary marker will be made. The 20th anniversary marker features a special mirror black finish, gold plated hardware, 20th anniversary commemorative logo a powder coated metal display stand, and a certificate of authenticity. To maximize the value of this unique item, each one will be individually numbered.

MSRP $249.00
