You’re probably wondering what the heck an Odyssey RPM is. Well, I’ve got your answer. The Odyssey RPM is a low-priced, fairly reputable tournament paintball marker. Here’s a brief overview of the Odyssey RPM marker.
Pros:
The Odyssey RPM is able to run on both Compressed air and c02. While c02 is not recommended, it does work pretty well when using it.
Semi-automatic mode is capped at 19 bps (balls per second) and ramping is at 15 bps. Also, we must not forget to mention the vision eyes that will keep up with the high speed firing.
Extremely nice stock trigger included. A very short pull is needed and has an easy and comfortable trigger to walk.
Only $150. And it will give an ION a run for its money.
Cons:
Some say that the gun is uncomfortable without a vertical regulator.
Stock barrel is absolutely horrendous
Personal Experiences:
Alright, when i first received my Odyssey RPM, it came in a funky box that looked a bit like a suitcase. Anyways, when i had a good look at the gun, it was absolutely beautiful, it looked much better in person. I didn’t use the stock barrel, instead used my Autococker threaded J&J Ceramic S2, which definitely worked a lot better than the stock. I gassed it up with c02 and turned on the board. The gun was actually very accurate, without the stock barrel of course. The gun had a bit of kick, but it does add a bit more “feel” to the gun. Overall the gun was one of the better choices for its price range. I’d definitely say it would be able to easily compete against an ION.
On that note, it’s not as upgradeable as the ion because it’s not as well-known. The ramping is a pain in the butt to set up, also. I’d recommend this gun to anyone who wants to shy away from an ION and have a unique, yet still a fast paintball marker.
